Typically, autoimmine inflammation is caused by irritation in the gut that is triggered by an immune response to certain types of food your body perceives as a threat. If you’ve struggled with this issue for awhile you’ve probably felt like giving up after being given so many different opinions, and that its just something you’ll have to learn to live with.

The good news is that you don’t need to take conventional medications in all cases. Sometimes the key to solving it is changing your diet.

We rely on quality foods to provide our basic needs such as vitamins and minerals our body uses to stay healthy. But food can also work against you since modern processed diets are loaded with toxic additives, and ingredients that the body wants to reject.

What Can You Not Eat On AIP?

Before you can start healing, you have to eliminate the food that triggers your immune system, and causes your gut to leak. Soon you’ll feel so much better and will learn to change your way of eating based on those results. STOP eating the following:

  • Sugar
  • Alcohol
  • Caffeine
  • GMO’S
  • Artificial Sweeteners
  • Additives, Preservatives and Dyes
  • High Fructose Corn Syrup
  • Processed Food, Junk Food, and Fast Food
  • Trans Fats and Hydrogenated Fats
  • Eggs
  • Nuts
  • Citrus
  • Yeast

What Can You Eat On AIP?

You’ll want to get organic food whenever you go shopping. Mass produced food in grocery stores is covered in pesticides and other toxins that will harm you. Most of the pesticides used in produce are actually deep inside the fruit or vegetable, which means you can’t just wash it off.

Eating high quality foods will make you feel more energetic, and clear minded. Suddenly your mood swings, fatigue, breakouts, rashes etc. will start to fade away. Start with these items:

  • Quality Meats
  • Veggies
  • Coconut & Coconut Oil
  • Olive Oil
  • Fruit
  • Healthy Fats
